Association of towns and villages of the Ondřejnice river-basin

The Association of towns and villages of the Ondřejnice river-basin consists of the town of Brušperk and 9 villages ? Hukvaldy, Fryčovice, Kozlovice, Krmelín, Palkovice, Stará Ves nad Ondřejnicí, Staříč, Kateřinice and Lhotka. The microregion is situated in the southeast of Ostrava. It continues the protected landscape area (CHKO) of Poodří on one side and the protected landscape area of Beskydy on the other side.

The region of Ondřejnice river-basin offers a versatile spectrum of cultural and sporting enjoyment. Here you can discover old manors as well as samples of the typical Lachian architecture. Especially in the course of school vacation, you can visit some of the summer festivals. The richest culture program is offered year round by the municipalities of Hukvaldy, Kozlovice, Brušperk and Lhotka.

The landscape peculiarity, its altitudinal unpretentiousness and mutual proximity of tourist destinations attracts each year a large number of bikers, hikers as well as motoring fanciers. Let?s walk with us also along the grass-grown path in the footprints of Leoš Janáček or Vincenc Socha.
