Pazderna village lies in the district of Frýdek-Místek near Žermanická dam. The first mention about Pazderna dates back to 1573, when it was a part of dominion of Frýdek. There is a bricked chapel in the village since 1871, which is consecrated to St. John Nepomucký. In 1907 a new school was finished, which was in use by 1973.
